Reading
Still working on Jitterbug Perfume by Tom Robbins. On to The Divine Invasion by Philip K. Dick--the second book in the VALIS trilogy. The trilogy is different... never read sci-fi with so much gnosticism baked in. I like it.
Garden
Tomatoes are in their final pots and showing their first flowers. Foxglove is looking healthy, but I think it won't bloom until next year.
Stomach
Just learned that Little Bull is moving to Chapel Hill St. I'm told they might bring back the smashburger when they move, which I would greatly appreciate. The burger at Delancey Tavern is pretty good, but I still miss Little Bull's.
I will say, Delancey is worth trying just for the fries... very unique. Thick, square logs that are wonderfully crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. They've clearly developed a special technique for these.
